Job training class

If you are looking for a new job or a career change, career centers can help. They offer a variety of free services, including:

  • Career Resource Center – Use the Center’s computers to search for jobs online, check newspaper ads, and check the daily job listings. You can also get resume help from a career specialist, use the copier, fax and phones to apply for jobs, and get job tips from books and other resources.
  • Job Hunting Workshops – Learn how to create a resume, practice your interview skills, search for jobs on the computer, and more.
  • Networking  - Meet with other job seekers to network, share tips, strategies and leads, and support each other.
  • Employer Presentation Sessions – Learn about the employers in the community, meet with the company representatives, find out what employers are really looking for in an employee, and interview for a position!
  • In-Depth Job Search Services and Career Guidance
Career Centers can help pay for your education or job skill training, childcare, counseling or provide personal job search assistance. You have to qualify for these services, be authorized to work in this country, and be a follow-through person.
